Lunar New Year

How much have you guys collected so far? My amount is quite miserable I think. Haha.

Anyways, the KTV system in the basement is working already and we've (Shirley included) been hogging onto it on the second day of new year. Btw, on the second day of new year, my house is open to anyone we know and also everyone who steps in including uncles, aunties etc gets a $10 ang bao. Yes, everyone. We had about 300 people who came. How tiring. But it was quite an enjoyable day.

Ok, then about Chinatown.

Iris and I met up to go do a lil bit of shopping. I wanted to keep to a $50 budget which is so ridiculous. Lol. I spent about 70+ that day. Nubbad hor? Lol.

We were in Orchard at first, then after obtaining a pair of earrings, the one you see in her blog, she told me she saw a jade look alike bangle in Chinatown which looks pretty unique and would be able to match with the earrings we bought. Therefore, we headed down and started looking for it. In the end, we bought 2 cashmere each, a doggy "cheong sam" (For Milo and Pearly), the bangle and a $3.50 hotdog. Tmd. Lol.

I also donated in the temple she and Billy went to. She wanted to find the temple so I helped her look for it. We finally found it and i donated about $22. Ten for the brick thingy, ten for the bowl thingy and $2 for pasting gold thingy on the buddha. Quite interesting. :)


You exchange ten bucks into ten cent coins then you start throwing one into one bowl. I don't know what's it for. But I did it in Thailand before.

Can't rem many details. Gonna crash now. Needa do some mugging tmr.
